I keep seeing people using the term "internalized misogynist" to describe Alastor's views on women. Babe INTERNALized misogynist describes when WOMEN (ancient Greek breakdown of misogyny is: miso being hatred and gyne mean women) has a hatred/BIAS towards other women. He is a MAN

All storytellers wanna do is tell stories. All we ask is some degree of faith in us to do so. It’s asking a lot a know. Shows are written by teams, we have a wide range of experience. Characters don’t belong to any one person. I’m proud of what we are doing. Atp that’s all that can matter to me.

Re: kids making noise in libraries. Sure, it can be annoying. But that is one of the prices you pay for having working libraries with employed librarians and kids who grow up to love reading and love libraries. A library as quiet as a fly on a feather duster is a dead library.

We just wanted to let you all know that though we have some lovely Spindle artists in this project, we are not affected by any of the new merch policies – preorders will stay open until the 10th. Our heart goes out to artists affected & we encourage everyone to support them.

Show up for artists whos livelihoods are in danger, but I think we (fans on the ouside) should be careful not to jump to conclusions and add fuel to the fire of rumor mills. Its never helpful. This sucks AND this fandom also has a habit or running screaming with information we haven't had confirmed

A fanart illustration of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel bathed in ominous green light with his shadows creeping up from the floor behind him. He’s standing with his staff in front of him and hands resting on top of the microphone. He has a wicked grin with one eye black and red. Two tentacles are extending from his back to lift up a sign that reads “ support Spindlehorse artists”.

🧵 Did you know that as far back as people have been researching human sexuality, asexuality has been documented alongside heterosexuality and homosexuality? It's true! In 1869 Karl-Maria Kertbeny described "monosexual" people, meaning then people who only had sex with themselves.

Butt Elevator! I always thought the idea of Alastor reflexively raising his butt into scritches at the base of his tail would be real cute and Vox would be delighted uwu Also I need to draw more backgrounds, even if they are simple. #radiostatic #immundusart #voxal

Alastor and Vox lay nude on Alastor's bed in his room at the Hotel, bayou visible behind them. Alastor is on his chest, laying on top of Vox, who holds him gently around the shoulder with one arm while he scratches the base of Alastor's tail with his claws. Alastor's ass is lifted high in the air, tail also flagging, not unlike a cat getting their butt scratched. He lets out a "Mmmmph!" in pleasure, ears flipped back and face scrunched as he holds on to Vox's bicep. Vox looks surprised and delighted.

Vox: Holy shit! You can't keep getting cuter, Al!

The Voting Rights Act is essentially dead and it’s quite possible that we will, like when a similar SCOTUS gutted civil rights at the fall of Reconstruction, see a disappearance of much of the Black congressional representation, especially in the most heavily Black states, which are in the South.

I honestly can't stand people talking about the mischaracterization of a character when that said character only showed one facet of themselves. Like you guys don't know the character yourselves, how can you dictate how a fan interpret a character that you dont know yourself? Oh...okay
