During yesterday’s prelim, some folks asked if I miss being in elected office. I absolutely miss the people I worked with — the incredible city staff, the neighbors I was able to help, and the difference I could make. What I don’t miss is the ugliness that surfaces, especially around elections. (1/6

After nearly four years, my time as your Ward 7 City Councilor has come to a close. Serving Somerville has been the honor of a lifetime. Together, we’ve accomplished so much—from securing $14M for Clarendon Hill to making our streets safer and more accessible.

I’m heartened to hear that DCR is making some safety improvements to Rt 16 and Boston Ave - an intersection I’ve been focused on and advocating for changes to since becoming a City Councilor. Thanks to all the advocates, our mobility team, and state officials for all your work to make this happen.
