@prune602.bsky.social A cat made a marvellous blanket for my old Boxer Jethro Tull: he had hay in his kennel, and his frenemy the cat used to sleep on top of him. That is, until he stopped trashing the cat by carrying it to a mud patch & rubbing it in...cat ran away after he quit trashing it!

The Pentagon has said there are enough to give some to Ukraine without the US running out: BUT the Pentagon is not authorised to permit that. Any transfer would have to be approved by the President: the decision belongs to Donald Trump. I won't hold my breath: I might turn blue...

@prune602.bsky.social The only egg trick that I can offer is that if you pierce a tiny hole in the blunt end of the egg, the air inside can escape when you boil them; it needs to be a very small hole without cracking the rest of the shell, and it stops the contents being expelled...

@prune602.bsky.social It seems as if the Russians are calling Ukraine out for the exact stuff that THEY are doing: they have had thousands of North Koreans (with official publicity) and odd groups of Indians, Nepalese, and Africans recruited under false pretences as workers!

Getting settled in: about half the people I followed on the other place seem to be here, so it feels reasonably comfortable on Day 3. I certainly don't miss the pro-Russian trolls, hope they stay away. Great to be able to follow some worthwhile posters with fewer interruptions...
