A family member older than him had a few nodes removed and has been cancer free for a few years now. I remain positive and optimistic for him as he no doubt has amazing doctors. 🙏 But it does remind us to take none of our best humans for granted.

My Trade Secrets today. Unfair Chinese competition may exist but it’s not the main reason the EU’s car industry is screwed, and tariffs won’t fix it on their own. Companies need to move faster and leave the internal combustion era behind.

Spot on. Lazy indeed. Also, never underestimate the type of person who googles a paragraph and pretends they know as much as someone who has spent a lifetime in the subject matter... ...and whose content has probably been stolen to make that very paragraph. 😉 knowledge.insead.edu/technology-i...

According to the article, how this item left Mexico a few hundred yrs ago is not known for certainty, nor is there proof it was actually worn by Moctezuma. It would be, however, a very lovely gesture to the Mexican people to return it to reside where it was made.

Sorry for the political comment, but almost 2000 yrs later & we still have barbarians making a buck off of putting human health last, & plebs who vote for them who refuse to acknowledge the fragility of their own human body, let alone that of their children & neighbors.

This is very interesting. I knew about the pollution in Roman Spain from the steelworks there, but not about the lead poisoning in Britain.

"possible the rise in negative health markers in urban Roman communities may have been exacerbated by exposure to the poisonous metal lead. Lead was integral to the infrastructure of Roman towns, used in plumbing systems...tableware, cookware & toys, & within consumables including wine & medicines"😮

The screens cause, & have caused, a lot of damage, but can serve to hide the other causes, I agree with you. Once the screens are addressed, we can & must keep seeking solutions to what remains. We have so much more knowledge now than we had, & I look back on some troubled classmates differently.💔

Respectfully, I don't think they are being played, I think they are the player. All this garbage is media content that gets eyeballs - here in the USA & over in the UK. They get to publish AND complain about what they publish. We read/watch it & complain about what we read/watched. Maybe stop?🤔💡

If we make screens the villain, then we let the people who control children’s health care — Congress, insurers and health systems — off the hook for their failures.

I was eager to put in entries for a prestigious journalism award for some of our Bolts team's wonderful work this year; they deserve all the love. The fee to apply for each 1 story is $500. The journalism sector should really rethink what it asks of small newsrooms to have any seat at the table.

In short, this is an insult to any maga still capable of any pride and dignity...along with, of course, a disgusting thing to do. This admin is bunch of rabid dogs. But I am sure the press will find a way to continue to smear Democrats as weak cause we don't do this. On this, the North remembers.

wonder how maga voters who lost manufacturing jobs to China under T Rump, despite his promises otherwise, feel about this blatant attempt to distract them from their $ situation he caused. Rump is calling them barbaric old europeans easily thrilled by public executions like their ancestors endured.

I know you need to fill your column spaces, but the short-ass answer is always this - if you allowed T Rump to make a short-ass fool of you, you are *never* gettin to the big house.

*so important*: if you’re voting by mail, assume the USPS will delay because it’s its policy. You can: —put it in drop box —go to counter to watch them postmark in front of you —if you’re dropping it in a mailbox, do it VERY EARLY.

Yes! Mine completed ballot went into the dropbox a couple of days after receipt. Too important to mess around. My ballot also came with the addresses of dropboxes throughout my county. Voters should demand that be included if that is not already part of their ballot package.

The thing about rich people threatening to leave California for Tx is that geography matters. Ocean views, what is across the ocean, 🌏 access. When one is young, one can live anywhere & be happy, but older & rich? No. There is only so much 🪓 you can do to your body/face before you need oceans.
