And we're done! For my very first time on a 2D Metroid, glad I started with Fusion, even with some tedious boss, the game was overall really fun. The uneasiness of the ambiance makes for a unique atmosphere and the gameplay aged surprisingly well.

Playing Metroid Fusion for the very first time... What a terrifying game! Despite being +30 it gives me the same uneasiness as Metroid Prime did when I was 12 and I was already spooked by the music from the menu back then. The sound design provides such dread, I'm blasted a GBA game holds so well.

Yeah, SHINOBI sincerely was my Game Of The Year for 2025, such a fantastic game and it played so well on my Switch Lite 🥷

Cette incertitude a perduré jusqu'à Halo 3 (et même Reach). J'ai tendance à penser (mais jamais pu vérifier) que c'est un mélange entre le rendu maison du moteur Bungie & PBR et une direction artistique, de créer une sorte de matériel qui n'est ni totalement l'un ni totalement l'autre.

People are literally torturing themselves to spend less time on their phone. I just have to use an #iPhone SE 1st Gen for this 😅 Turns out dealing with a battery having less capacity overtime since 7 years makes you naturally more choice-aware of your usage & less eager to spend time on your phone

20+ years later and @isaachannaford.com is still blowing my mind with some crispy Halo art & design details

A post from Isaac Hannaford on Linkedin saying the following:

this was the first time the Halo: Reach spartan armor was represented. I was fascinated by the idea that the x shape of the Halo: combat evolved armor was done on purpose as an icon...maybe related to it being on x-box. Anyway I decided that the X was too good to let die on the vine and pulled it back into the language. I was also hooked on a line somebody used to describe the spartans... "Walking Battle Tanks" I really wanted to convey that these suits were heavy and less like clothes and more like a vehicle.

It shows 3 armor design from Halo Reach for the Spartan in gray, 2 front and 1 from the back, one is a make-shaped armor while the second appears to be female shaped, which all look like walking tanks. They have a visual design shaping their chest as a "X" and their helmets feature a golden visor.

A website with a design from the 90, very simple with serif font, it's called "My cool website" and has a menu with the following section: Home, Blog, Guestbook and contact. This meme is surprisingly accurate. Most of my friends stopped pirating content when Netflix appeared but with the abondance of streaming services and their exclusivities, my friends (and I) are back on streaming website & P2P content sharing. What was once the answer is now the burden.

With #Marathon, we can definitely see Bungie's employees played A TON of #Apex Legends and truly loved this game & the work from Respawn Entertainment. Marathon honestly feels like a (great) blend between Apex & Destiny regarding its gameplay, which is for sure gonna make it fun & accessible.

METAL EDEN's Art Direction really is something I'm going to love! The gameplay is as close as it can be to DOOM Eternal, which I love, the environment is solid & the overall gunplay is really fun, too bad it can be visually a mess sometimes thanks to Unreal Engine 5... This engine is a let down...
