The movie I watched this morning, started shaky but got me into it by the end. Not sure how it’s going to fall during award season but definitely interesting film, especially the exploration of sound. Also extremely funny at times.

Still haven’t found my Hamnet. Overall, been just an okay year for movies. Nothing yet to move me. Last year had so many great ones. Still lots more films to be released but Digger is probably the one great one so far in terms of saying something worth hearing.

I just got sent a screener for that Bears Hallmark movie lol which I do want to watch, so need to find time for that.

I consider myself an expert on grocery store fresh desserts. Unfortunately, Whole Foods has the best, especially those items with fruits. They’re also the most expensive.

If the critics hate Ink, and tell people to skip it, I am seeing a concerning pattern.

Every year, I start to notice a theme in the movies that are Oscar contenders. Last year, it was man made monster/bad fathers. This year it is misinformation/sensationalization/consumption harming us.

Either I am becoming less critical or critics just back to hating everything. The Social Reckoning wasn’t amazing, but it was fine. I think we are at a crisis on critical thinking, so movies that spell stuff out are necessary, unfortunately.
