It’s about ten people in this theater right now. Way too many. That’s why I go at like 10am on a random Tuesday.

I think Chicago is becoming too viral. I went to the same event last year and it wasn’t nearly as busy. Nor did I see so many social media posts about it. That Gatekeep Chicago page needs to work harder 😆

I kind of also feels like it should be illegal to force children and animals to festivals with long waits, especially in the heat. Like a baby is not going to remember being at a festival. They’re just going to be overheated and suffering.

Events like this remind me I am not for the people. The people I like, I really like. But people in general, not for me.

I am seeing Digger today. Kind of nervous because I want to be on the right side of history, and I am notoriously really critical of movies.

Eating an apple for breakfast before heading out to eat apple dishes. Feels too on theme.

Cherry Dr Pepper Zero, is, unfortunately, not as good as regular Dr. Pepper Zero. Cherry version has a weird aftertaste.

This sounds dramatic but feel like I need therapy after this season of the parking lot show. I am just insanely disturbed how many revealed how little they care about the struggles of poc when it comes to strangers they stan.

As a millennial, naturally, *NSYNC’s Just Got Paid pops in my head every time I get paid.

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

So Ghosts it is! 😂. Kind of glad I have plans for rest of weekend. Then long month starts next week. Taking it easy with work after 90 day work marathon but these shows aren’t doing it so far lol. And screeners require full attention that I don’t have back yet.

020

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

A Different World.. it already got renewed, so maybe I can give it a chance at another time lol

100

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

But just remembered I want to watch A Different World’s reboot, so let me go with that.

010

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Yeah I have a whole season and a half of Ghosts to watch. About 21 episodes per season about 30ish 20/30 minute episodes. New season starts at end of month. Maybe will try to catch up.

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Hulu just showed me an ad for a Tubi horror movie where she needs to get drunk to solve a mystery…that may be the winner.

000

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I also kind of want to binge something. So either finally catch up on US Ghosts (I think I am a couple seasons behind), or watch an international Netflix reality TV show (Physical 100 Mexico or Italy or LIB Netherlands).

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I am not ready to start tackling all my screeners, so trying to find as much low brain activity shows as possible. But I have a limit. Tried to watch something and the acting was too bad.

I received a press email today promoting something that made me briefly think Atonement was coming back to theaters. I was excited. The joy I feel about that depressing movie should be studied.

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

You know something pissed you off when you’re like should I pitch an article about this and risk a bunch of angry racist harassing me?

110

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

If I didn’t have two articles to write today, it would be a perfect Friday to do nothing.

010

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Going to watch Taskmaster to chill out.

I feel like it was def James that’s dead. Now doubly sad. 😔 #CelebrityTraitor

Thought of a really good story idea this morning. Maybe that will be my first writing project and put my January story on hold.

I am wearing Halloween PJ pants. I am so ready for Halloween. May need to do something for it this year.

I definitely need to spend some of my fall applying for new stuff (life of a freelance writer), but so excited to mostly chill for a few months. Work on health, read, movies, writing (fiction and work). See my friends and family more. Going to end the year strong.

I love a grocery store premade quick salad. I may get really into salads this month.

I didn’t get my acceptance letter for film festival coverage over the weekend, so a part of me was getting nervous that I wouldn’t be approved. Got the letter today. We’re so back!

I was at this book event. And I thought the people in front of me were besties: A gay guy and his female best friend. I was gagged when he introduced her to the author as his wife. I kept thinking “did I hear that right?!”

I am thinking about rereading Sense and Sensibility. Maybe it was the setting. But I think I loved most of the novels from that course but that one, which is disappointing because I read Pride and Prejudice and loved that. Also been reading Emma for like ten years and it’s so good.

020

Jerrica @jtwritergirl.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I read Sense and Sensibility in college and didn’t love the book, and seen the other movie, but the trailer is getting me. It looks so much like the Pride and Prejudice adaptation (which is one of my favorites). So I am so excited to watch that.

Tiredness kicking my butt. I am looking forward to October but also not lol so much traveling back and forth.

I also read almost half of a book on that bus. I am not a fast reader so that tells you how long I was on buses lol

Unfortunately the sushi I bought didn’t hit lol probably because I had it for 3 hours before eating it. Let’s see if I get sick. Container was completely closed and most of it was cooked.

The only bad thing about long travel is that I have short windows sometimes so I haven’t eaten anything all day lol. And walked about 3 miles according to my watch lol

My fun day plans already starting rough lol. Raining and supposed to be all morning. 😭
