I never see talk of the greatness of Catherine Wheel. Chrome is one of the best albums of that era IMO I wanted Rob Dickinson to take his uncle’s place in Maiden #NowPlaying #90sMusic #MusicSky

Realized we just passed 40 years since the loss of Cliff Burton. Music and metal lost out on so much. Incomprehensible what his contributions would've been over the decades. #MusicSky #MetalSky

Mojack podcast got me to pull this one. I usually go for the later stuff but this one on revisit has me rethinking those decisions. Always forget Matt Cameron is on drums here. #NowPlaying #MusicSky

Seems like it gets a little more love these days than it used to. But damn have I always been big into this record. To a massive degree TBH. And to do the annoying thing: #vinyl is the way to hear it. Why they can’t get the Ozzy era CDs right I’ll never know #NowPlaying #MetalSky #MusicSky

Despite the southwest being home for nearly a quarter century, there is always going to be a part of me that remains a Marylander. And proudly so. There ain’t no bond quite like us southwesterners with our Maryland roots #Maryland #MarylandPride #MarylandMyMaryland

That way Hawaiian acts always managed to work the local sounds into any genre.

There was this small record shop on a side street off Pratt St. in Baltimore. Across from the library. My place for underground rap and my beloved go-go records. There was also a photo studio nearby that had Maryland drivers license laminates. 17 to 21 for 25 bucks. Used to be better

#ThriftStore finds have really dried up of late. But nice to find this Tori Amos - Talula maxi-single “Frog On My Toe” is the keeper of the unreleased songs. The “Talula (BT synesthesia mix)” is just a basic techno loop with the “He’s chasing tornados” repeated. Weak #NowPlaying #MusicSky #CDs

Everyone was worried when they signed that they would be chasing the major label alt-rock sounds of the day. “Grunge” Instead they came out hard and showed why they were not part of any “scene”. They were their own scene

It might not be as strong as what came before but I'm still a big fan of this one. Plus I resented that it felt like Twisted Sister was treated like a fad that had passed.

I think he gets by on the old "it's just wrestling" brush aside that the monsters in the business have benefitted from for decades. Thing that gets me about Cena is he knows or experienced Vince's behavior well beyond what is out there. Tells me everything I need to know about John Cena the person

Thinking of how great the Sam Goody #Vinyl closeout bin was at the Annapolis Mall circa the late 80s. 2-3 bucks. Loaded with tons of college rock. Perfect for me who was obsessed with discovering bands that were on the outer reaches of the college charts. That’s where the gems were #NowPlaying

Feels like there is a thing in the metal community to hate on the modern era of the “big” thrash acts. Not I. Of the legacy bands, Exodus is the one I’ve felt held up best. This one is frequent revisit. And well earns its long run time. #NowPlaying #MetalSky #MusicSky

That time he was the star of the WWE camp and the whole summer was "Taylor to WWE" talk. Being the Gentleman he is had Taylor politely asking fans to quit saying that. Since his mom might be reading. He would've ruled in that era of nxt. So happy it worked out for him the way it did with AEW
