A more stressing time for a leak would be to occur right after the conclusion of a moon walk. Suit capabilities would be depleted, rover may be low on batteries. So how quickly could the crew replenish those? How much do they need to replenish? How far do they need to go in suits to get to safety?

I think that would be fine. The crew has posted lots of little snippets to instagram and occasionally you can catch a glimpse of something, but it’s difficult to really see details.

I marked up a few things here.

The 2 large lockers in the middle of the vehicle were the assumed stowage location of things like fecal canisters. The only thing I can say for sure had a more set location was the med kit, because the locker had a Red Cross on the door

Sorry, I missed the original post. Cargo doesn’t typically have a dedicated space unless it’s too big to fit in a given location. More important is getting the center of gravity constraints right and having the things the crew will use first in more accessible locations.

Never forget the cab ride I had in Northern Calif. ~12 years ago when the cabbie asked if I’d ever heard of chemtrails, I said no, he explained what they were, and I immediately said, oh that’s just water vapor from humidity condensing around airfoils. I didn’t realize this was a conspiracy thing

I turned 50 last October and figured out that my working at Johnson Space Center for 27 years means I’ve worked there for 40% of NASA’s existence. Doesn’t seem possible. Run the numbers again. I have a daughter in London & in North Carolina. Inconceivable.

This has also been one of my big questions for the Predator universe - who develops all the tech? How did they achieve advanced spaceflight? Or did they just flex and howl their way to it?
