The 2 large lockers in the middle of the vehicle were the assumed stowage location of things like fecal canisters. The only thing I can say for sure had a more set location was the med kit, because the locker had a Red Cross on the door

The trench glows green because Christmas. Helps light up the thing and offsets the Eye of Thermal Exhaust Port that otherwise dominates the lighting.

Never shared my revamped Death Star trench run. Added warm white surface lights as the nominal station lights. The mechanism to get the X-wing moving through the trench works in theory. Completely overhauled the position. May just turn that on only occasionally.

Ok, now I’m starting the present factory re-design. First steps - redo the floor to provide enough room for the conveyor belt and add inner walls on each end to mount Death Star wall panel lights. Still need raised platforms on each end to hide wires & such.

Starting point for the present factory floor. Wooden box roughly 70” x 24”.

Re-done base with both end walls in place. All with a fresh coat of light gray paint.
