lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Rewatching Akira last week sent me down an Evangelion sized rabbit hole this week. I'm on episode 18 and shit is starting to get weird. Not sure where it's going but I have lots of questions that need answers. Like wtf are these "Angels" that keep getting creepier with every appearance. 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I know this is a deep cut for most people but IYKYK. This is the game that made me realize I was into games more than the average person, definitely more than anyone else in my family and friends group. Keith Courage in the Alpha Zones 151
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 21/09/2026GF & I are still making our way through past Oscar winners so this weekend we watched Kramer vs. Kramer 1979) and The Apartment (1960) which we both really enjoyed. Kramer vs. Kramer is probably the best "new" movie I watched all year and Shirley Maclaine in The Apartment is incredibly adorable. 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 21/09/2026This weekend I rewatched Akira for the first time in maybe 20 years and it was an experience. The post-apocalyptic setting hits different in 2026. I also fell in love with the hand drawn animation all over again. What a masterpiece. #filmsky #animesky 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 07/07/2026So Mitch McConnell might go soon. He's been bed ridden for weeks and his staff is hiding his condition. Personally, I hope they take him like they did Carl Bruner in Ghost. 021
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I have a long flight coming up and I'm trying to decide what games to play on my Steam Deck. Looking for something short that I can maybe finish in a sitting. I'm considering Consume Me or Keep Driving, but maybe both? Anything else in this ballpark? I already finished Mixtape. 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 07/05/2026Did you do this on purpose? Maybe you ARE a witch. 110
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 20/03/2026With all due respect, I didn’t think this was physically possible. Rest in peace. 100

lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 21/02/2026I watched Send Help last week so I’m watching Cast Away. It’s been a few years since a full rewatch. #nowplaying #filmsky 010

lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 31/12/2025Yep it was a lot of fun. I only knew him from the movies he’s scored. 020
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 11/12/2025I have no problems with this young woman, and I think she's actually a good actor but what is she doing on the cover of Christy? Is that a punch? It can't be. Who in their right might decided on this as the cover for this movie? 010
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 10/11/2025Show me proof that Obama or Biden or Bush or Clinton did anything close to this. You fucking moron. he is literally asking her to get them because he was impeached. Now run away with your stupid arguments. 210

lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 13/10/2025Thank you Chris Columbus for everything you’ve done for me and society. 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 02/10/2025I watched One Battle After Another yesterday and it was far more cathartic than I anticipated. Absolute gem of a movie, and definitely my favorite PTA movie in a long time. I love when DiCaprio does contemporary roles. He's so damn good. And Sean Penn needs to be nominated. #filmsky 010
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 30/09/2025I never finished Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSX so I'm excited to dig into this again, but the absolute best part of FFT returning is all the amazing artwork it brings. 020
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 16/04/2025A movie that takes place where you're from. The Black Bramford is just a few blocks away from me. #filmsky 030

lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 29/01/2025With FFXII finished, I finally began playing Octopath Traveler II. This game is so gorgeous. I'm only a few hours into it, but I'm itching to get back to it. The combat, the characters, and the music are all done with such detail. 030
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 08/01/2025I didn't know this was a thing. Hmm, maybe I should get myself some tickets. 000

lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 06/01/2025As of today, I'm no longer on call at my job, so I'm going to pick a night and run through Mouthwashing on Steam. I hear it's just a 2-hour experience, my favorite. 010
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 24/12/2024A few more pictures from my trip to Germany. We’ll call this Street Art edition: 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 16/12/2024I’m back home in the States and want to talk about my experience in Germany a bit. First things first, the buildings blew me away. Both Berlin and Munich have a marvel of architecture around every corner. 000
lonely_astronaut @jstrider.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Just a reminder that the movie Doom Asylum exists and should be watched. #filmsky 021
