Not even gonna look. ...gee I wonder what party he's for?

(I apologize for the atrocious grammar in that previous post. My hood was showing for a second lol)

So yeah... I'm not doing it by myself lol. I need help. But it would be so sick.. imagine, an RPG nobody in the west has played that can't speak Japanese... With an epic MSU OST? I think that's kinda sick, personally. Thus, these posts.

230

I'm willing to do an MSU of the Japanese version, but this is a TON of work and I would be doing it with the intention of playing the finished product. I have to compose a number of tracks in the game that aren't in the OST (I was a pro songwriter, that part is easy, but will take a lot of time)

120

I want to do an MSU hack of it, but the thing is: it's untranslated, and I don't want to use A.I. for it. So basically I'm stuck until someone that can help translates a Super Famicom RPG that has never been translated LMAO (sighs in dumb American)

I believe the writers or composers' names were Jeff and Rob Pfeifer? Not even sure if that's correct. Can't find the singer's name at all. I was stunned to see that a LOT of the actual OST's music lines up with the SFC game's songs. PERFECTLY. 1:1 The entire OST is there!

Down the World - Mervil's Ambition (SNES): 01 - Love Theme~NOW MY LOVE

You can hear the original version here (I'll link to the original video at the end of this thread, if you want to see @famicomdojo.bsky.social 's video that introduced me to it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Jq0...

There's an RPG on the Super Famicom called "Down the World: Mervil's Ambition" which has never been translated into English. The theme song on the title screen is in English and has vocals. Blew me away when @famicomdojo.bsky.social introduced me to it YEARS ago, like 10 or so. It was amazing (1/?)

Yeah there's no way they're fine with losing 4 home games a year unless there's a reason. Maybe a concession or compromise with the PA?

Oh, I see. You're starting to get a little bit of a day off so I can get it done and I will be there in a few minutes to the office and the kids will have the money for the house to go out of town

I once went shopping for an imitation Christmas tree. Figured if I got a good one it would last me forever. However, I made the mistake of going in June and my tree looked really awful, straight up like one from Charlie Brown. And it's still less artificial than his so-called intelligence

8.1 consecutive scoreless innings for Diaz in the postseason, dating back to the 2024 NLDS. That includes 5.1 against the eventual champs in 2024

NGL the thing I miss most about Vegas is In-N-Out, Del Taco, and real Mexican food (I understand Del Taco isn't Mexican and I hate that I have to add that context). The FIRST place I visit when I go home is Casa Don Juan.

If art is worthless, then why do we spend billions of dollars creating programs that don't do much except create art? And they don't even do that well. Or good. At all.

I was asked why PB retired. Well, first the goodest boi is enjoying middle age in comf. We did another run. This one, sadly, was not accepted for AGDQ 2026. Only 300 or so people have seen PB play The Legend of Zelda with me. He might return someday, if the right project compels us.

Update: wiping your phone and reinstalling Windows and changing every damn password you have is not enough to feel secure again. But it's enough to learn a lesson.

I didn't see it reported much anywhere, but Duane Keith Davis is guilty. As a kid who was 12 in September 96 & loved hip hop, his murder was hard for me to swallow. Especially living in Vegas. Even 30 years later, it doesn't feel real. Glad he got justice. Wish his momma could've seen it.
