How Meadow loved that squeaky ball. Unlike most greyhounds, she was a master at catch 'n' fetch. I would throw it so it bounced once and then she'd grab it on the half-volley and bring it back. 14 years later we still miss her every day. There'll never be another Meadow.

The exec is the president of St Pauli. In related news, I finally found a Bundesliga team to support.

Hamburg-based St. Pauli is known for mixing sport with politics near the the city’s red-light district, and particularly its left-wing stance. The club’s famous pirate skull-and-crossbones symbol was first carried by squatters who lived nearby and later popularized by fans who identified as punks.

According to the 911 logs, it was 3 minutes from the first call until they arrived, but nevertheless your basic point is spot-on-- that delay could've cost her life.

Yay Rodney! 🎉 So happy for you both. Our cat Twinkle was diagnosed with lung cancer, untreatable at her age. We used prednisone for palliative care, and a year after diagnosis she's doing great. Rarely coughs and even her Ca levels are normal again.
