Yesterday's office opening fundraiser was a blast! Thanks to everyone who joined us, everyone who spoke, including Birch Cliff resident Dr. Marvin Macaraig, local leader Paula Masterson, and former Councillor Mike Layton - it was a great turnout, we raised a ton of money, and we had a great canvass!

Met with PSAC workers this morning who are fighting for a fair deal. The Bank of Canada should respect workers’ rights, stop replacing highly trained in-house security officers with contractors & SCABS, & get back to the table. Public institutions should protect workers, not undermine them.

It’s time to break up the grocery monopoly. There’s a clause hiding in grocery store leases that keeps your bill high, and most people have never heard of it. It’s called a property control, and the giant chains use it to block competitors from opening anywhere near them.
