While going through some old papers, I found 38,000 words of a half finished novel I began writing about 40 years ago, and gave up once I got some traction on my playwriting. And even more amazing—it ain’t half bad. Needs work, obviously, but so do I.

It’s 2:30 am. I have, in Aspen Hill MD, perhaps a half-inch of snow. And nothing coming down. Is it evaporating in the atmosphere? I assume more is coming, but if this is it, it’s the most spectacular miss in forecasting history. All the more reason to restore 100% of #NOAA’s funding.
