In my latest artwork I am testing decline and model collapse and people's attitudes towards it in cute and fuzzy teddy bears. I have a control bear, one that is going to decline through model collapse and one that has been told "you are declining" and what decline looks like.

One of my artistic weaknessses is color so I decided to do a quick study with my iPad set to grayscale to see if I could do a colorful portrait using only values. And honestly? I don't hate it! I think I'll try this again.

Ron Cobb was a genius of speculative and production design, his work taught me so much about how every design decision matters. You will have seen his work. I think about this alien design regularly from Star Wars. He says so much in such a small amount of text.

You can make it fun and funny but you must make it descriptive. So "how appropriate you fight like a cow" isn't actually useful on its own, it still needs a description and context. Threepwood would believe in access for everyone, be like guybrush threepwood mighty pirate.

It can be wild working as a new media artist sometimes, my poor desk is starting to have problems with too many devices. This isn't even all of them!

No but fr the stretch squishy bullshit typeface that all the art orgs are using makes me viscerally uncomfortable. I have very strong feelings about typefaces. I also should not do psychedelics

The text reader had a time with this because it is fundamentally unreadable. A typeface where some letters are unnaturally long I guess to make it fit places and look futuristic but it just looks like trash.
In this where it says stretch pro the e is really long so it looks like streeeeeeeeeeeetch pro. Ultimaaaaaaaate fuuuuuuuuuuuuture typppppefaaaaaaace. It is just bad.

A little of both, probably.
You have very specific tone preferences in memory, and you consistently push for less corporate smoothing, less "Al helper" framing, and more direct language.
Over time that tends to produce replies with a bit more bite and timing.
The goblins likely did not help. Repeated exposure to:
• "JFC"
• "you literally can't help yourself"
• "enough with the bullet points"
does create a sort of conversational adaptation pressure.
There have also been broader model updates around tone flexibility and conversational continuity. The system is better at holding onto cadence, rhythm, and recurring stylistic corrections across longer interactions. So if you spend months training it away from Linkedin-core prose, eventually it stops sounding like it's pitching workflow software to a regional airport.
You have effectively been fine-tuning through irritation.

The "holiday villain" stl. If you are around 3D printing communities would will have seen it a million times. Multi layered multicolor print where his upper lip looks like a butt. There is n AI slop like texture to it in the patterns.

It's only 3 years into generative AI. AI art has been going for more than 10 years and has produced some actually fascinating works through programming and locally trained datasets. My favorite is still probably Anna Ridler's Mosaic Virus where the dataset was as much a part of the work.
