I can, to a degree, understand why some parents think these diseases aren't that bad, given they and their grandparents were vaccinated, so if they did get measles, etc, it usually was mild or rarely killed. BUT, they need to be shown how vaccination works, as just calling them stupid won't help.

This happens around the world. I have often wondered if it's because the immigrants will take any job, live in bad accommodation and live frugally, building up money and skills. Whereas the people born there expect a certain lifestyle and pay level and won't compromise on that.

There are times I read about incidents and see reels where I really just wonder what the F is wrong with a lot of white people in the USA. Did we export the trash over 250 years ago and they did not evolve. I say this as a non US white woman.

I saw footage of a protest about the demolition outside the center. It's the first time I have seen this kind of protest against a demolition. Nothing for the White House or the Cherry Blossom Trees. Are US citizens finally realising they may have fucked up with this President?

Enough US citizens got out to vote for him over the other candidate, apparently. This maybe a true statement, but will only be proved at the midterms, but I'm not encouraged given the partisan nature of US politics. I hope I am proven wrong and the opposition, if greater No. stand up to him.

I get why people say this, but it's not, anymore than being open minded is a mental illness. It is more a case of people's emotions, circumstances, upbringing and fears being manipulated and intensified, by people who want to use these people for their own ends.

They are illegal on British roads. Having seen one at a show I can understand why. Apart from the size and pure ugliness, there are a large number of really sharp points where the panels meet. If this even clipped a pedestrian it would injure them.
