Went on a Stitchtopia quilting weekend retreat a few weeks back and learned an interlocking pattern, with different colours for each 'round'. This is a small lap, for a cat to sit on, using the design. It's got thin wadding and a fleece back. #quilt #quilting #patchwork #stitchtopia #knotwork

Duck race in Cheddar Gorge. My duck did not win.

People line the banks of a narrow stream, counting down three people throwing around 200+ yellow ducks into the river. Two men stand in the river to help move along any rubber ducks caught in the weeds.

The yellow rubber ducks slowly race down the river, cheered on by the crowd.

The rubber ducks have difficulty getting over a small waterfall, so the duck wranglers outside them over.

All the yellow rubber ducks are caught in a net, at the finish line and retrieved, whilst the crowds lining the river bank cheer .
