I'm not Dan Hannan! My name is Mr Dan Harman and I come from, uh... someplace far away!
An image of "Mr Snrub" from The Simpsons, who is Mr Burns wearing an obvious fake moustache.

My guess would be that James did the same as me, which is to take a photograph of one of these cars while it was stopped and the driver had got out for a moment (in my case they got out leaving the car stationary in the middle of the road).
The interior of a Waymo "driverless" car, with nobody in the car. A display screen inside the car says "This car is reserved for the next rider".

We have come to a fork in the road.
A road, with a fork in it (cutlery).

Seems legit.
A radar graph labelled "Your Right Wing Archetype Political Profile" with a single dot in the exact centre and no other values indicated, and the labels "Libertarian: 0%. Free Marketeer: 0%. Social Conservative: 0%. Traditionalist: 0%. Nativist: 0%".

Your honour, I am a cat.

Here's a nickel, kid - buy yourself another pixel. (The original on the board is good quality - something's happened to potatoify it en route to BlueSky...) b3ta.com/board/11428261

This was famously how Elite worked on the BBC, with monochrome hi-res graphics for the viewscreen and colourful low-res graphics for the dashboard below. Apparently Revs even did a trick where it used video RAM for game code, but changed the palette so all pixel values were blue to look like sky.

Two coffee shops two doors apart, one called "Zus Coffee" and one called "Dre Coffee", the shop signs for which are both white text on the same colour blue background with the shop name in the same font.

… and this:
A self-checkout screen showing that 2 bottles of Diet Coke cost variously £2.10 each, £3.50 total (due to a special offer), and also the number £3.85 is involved somehow.

Also stuff like this:
A price label for a 100-sheet roll of kitchen roll for £1.50, which it claims equates to £1 per 100 sheets.

Yes, more of this sort of thing!
A topless man dancing on the roof of a police van in Old Compton Street in Soho, watched by a crowd of street diners.

Hence the following Blue Plaque on the wall of Bar Italia at 22 Frith Street in Soho:
An English Heritage "Blue Plaque" reading "In 1926 in this house John Logie Baird (1888-1946) first demonstrated television".

That is a seriously chunky door.
The door to the NORAD military bunker in Cheyenne Mountain, which like the library 'secret door' above is extremely chunky but which, unlike the library door, weighs 25 tons and can withstand a 30 megaton nuclear blast.

That's because it is the west entrance to Canary Wharf.
A view of the west entrance to Canary Wharf tube station, looking up the escalators from the bottom.
