on a funny note, just further confirmation that I'm ace because even though this guy got under the sheets with me in the dream, it never went beyond snuggling. even subconsciously, I know what I want. 😂

brain, I really don't want to have a vivid and adorable dream cuddling with someone I had an unreciprocated crush on. 🥲 the way I went from a soft smile in my sleep to the biggest frown upon waking up. lol

I wish I didn't shut down socially when life gets busier. :( all this manual labor and working with my dad every day (who is exhausting to be around by his nature lol) has made me a hermit for a few weeks. I like the work I'm doing but.. phew. I'm making real sacrifices with my energy and peace.

Pants falling down even with a belt? If your belly is the widest point, a belt has nothing to grip. Hold your pants up from the shoulders instead.

Sharkfriend time! 🦈✨With: 🎧Music 🍕Snacks 🎮VideoGames 🌟And Magic! Roberto, being the esotericism enthusiast that he is, loves to perform divination to give advice to his friends! What advice could Aria have been seeking this time?

An illustration of my sharkfolk OCs: Roberto the great hammerhead shark, Tiago the tiger shark, and Aria the zebra shark.

They are in a scene spending time together as good friends. Roberto is sitting cross-legged on the floor, performing a tarot card divination to give advice to his friend Aria. He is holding a can of coconut milk soda.

Aria is sitting opposite Roberto, curious and admiring the tarot card that came up as a result, which is the major arcana "The Star". On the floor, under a cloth specifically for divination, are two other cards with the arcana "The Moon" and "The Sun". Next to her is a can of passion fruit soda.

Meanwhile, Tiago is nestled on a sofa, playing on a portable console, listening to the sound through a wired headset with an antenna and a coiled cord. On the arm of the sofa, there's a can of Guaraná soda and a four-string tenor guitar resting beside it. On the other side, there's a lamp and a potted tropical plant.

Around them, there are various snacks, such as a bowl of cookies and a mushroom and anchovy pizza.

I never put my old cat man up on Bluesky on his own. Hmm. I fix. Synas, my Circle of Stars Druid from western Anauroch. He finds himself, decades later, in Neverwinter after his cards lead him to the coast, to be hired to head to Phandalin to help investigate a cave...

Painting of a Leonin Druid, Circle of Stars path, named Synas. A white and black cat with a large black mane, stands amongst the plains, one hand on his hip and holding a massive quarterstaff topped with an antler. He stands amongst a backdrop of stars and an aurora, as his burnt orange eyes look up to the sky.

yes I'm Sad Posting™️ at night but it's been puzzling me. like, does birdsong regulate my nervous system and center me more than I would've thought? I'd say listening to sad music is a great (and ironic) example of coping with depression. definitely something for me to talk about in therapy. lol

Jrain @jrain.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I've noticed a pattern with an unusual way I attain emotional release near the end of depression slumps: birdsong. just start crying inconsolably when I listen to it, but it truly helps. been making me wonder if other folks have unique things/practices that help them have a "good cry," as it were.
