If it's a traffic stop, and you fail to produce those, and start talking about your rights and refusing lawful orders to exit the vehicle, you WILL go to jail. Your charge(s) may not stick, but even spending a night in jail is a PITA for most people.

I can show you thousands of YT clips that might make you think otherwise. However, it's good advice. Just remember, if you are driving (behind the wheel in control of whatever you call your 'conveyance'), you do have to show valid DL, insurance and registration, and leave VIN observable.

I was hooked from S1E1 with #TheExpanse. I like things to take some time, and not be spoon-fed. I was pretty in awe of the world-building without technobabble, or explaining how the spoons work.
