I wrote this in response to someone saying women should wear meta glasses at all times. The response I got was that I had a lot of misplaced anger (toward the women I was responding to, I guess, even though I never said a bad word about them).

Some of us are victims of the same men you hate. I was hoisted by the throat and threatened to convince my mom to come back and "take her beating"
I don't deserve to have my privacy violate because of the same pieces of shit who abused me, and none of the women who would be filmed deserve that either.

I think the problems with the internet started with the “her elbows are too sharp” joke. All my male friends knew this was a joke about men being ridiculous and I believe a great many others did too. But some young men saw it and started filtering for sharp elbows and now we have a manosphere.
