Fighting games are much easier to learn than team-based games for one simple reason: In fighting games, you only have to learn what you need to mash buttons and feel cool. In team games, you have to learn enough to not get flamed every match. There’s a reason I stick to just watching Deadlock 😔

Thinking about how when I was playing Invincible VS on the Combo Breaker stream, the guy for TNS asked my opponent for his pronouns but not mine, and then somehow the greatest injustice I faced was a toss up between the commentator calling me “Joe Sprax” and having to play Invincible VS.

Small detail I really loved, in the Deku Tree in the room where you get the Slingshot, the floating, falling platform that was there is instead replaced by a rotting branch that ties into the visual theming of the dungeon better. It still lets you jump around to use it to get out like the original!

Think I've settled into my thoughts on the Ocarina of Time remake. I think the characters look strange, but I'm still really looking forward to how they handle the environments. I think there's too much fog, but besides that, they look stunning so far.

I say this as a joke but honestly if, when playing a video game, you can lose and: - not get frustrated or annoyed - think about what happened and examine the elements in play - reconsider your choices regularly then you'll be well on your way to overcoming a lot of difficult gaming challenges

For Joy Minoy: I was new and didn’t fully understand what would make a name lore compliant, but I noticed all the autogenerated Lalafell names were rhyming. For Pella Apella: I originally made a Hrothgar but rolled a name that would give me a cushion in case I wanted to fantasia later. Paid off lol
