When you have ADHD you learn pretty quickly that routines can't be maintained all the time. That sometimes you are going to drop the ball. I think the biggest coping mechanisms I have learned is not to punish myself for that but to get back to the routine.

I gave up on drawing once before when I let the rise of 3d animation kill my dream of being a 2d animator. Maybe if I hadn’t listened to that voice in my own head, I’d have pro-level skills by now. I’ll be damned if I’m going to listen to it coming from someone else.
