This is such a good point. These platforms could easily identify and delete bot accts. They don't bc capitalism: there's no financial incentive to do so.

It would be easy to call this the “new normal“ but that’s incorrect. In actual fact, “normal” is going to keep getting worse and worse and worse. Just how bad it will get depends entirely on how fast & far we go on real, legitimate (not performative) #ClimateAction. We know how. It’s about will.
