I am livid at the idea that "family concerns" were used to stop surgeries on adults, just because they happen to be trans. Maybe if this happened to a cishet white man, or for any other procedure... maybe then the @greenparty.org.uk would bother to campaign on it for longer than a day or two.

Despite even within Islam his position being not the norm. Some of the most and instantly supportive women I know have been Muslim women, people treat Ali like his beliefs are a monolith and treat him like a smol bean that can't help himself. Not holding him to account like anyone else is racist.

That's exactly what it was, and what I think happened during his deputy leadership election, all scrutiny got thrown out to push the "he's a GOOD Muslim" narrative following his actions in the Leeds '24 riots. All the way through the election it was "it doesn't matter he's a X it's just his faith".

I've always had wider hips and thighs, even per-transition and ended up living in cargo shorts at various lengths, you can get drawstring ones if belts are a problem too.

Congratulations and well done!! Especially breaking the stall. I'm -7st over 2 years and my partner who suffers from ME has lost just a little bit more and is able to be more active. We're at our lowest weights since our teenage years and feeling positive about our vessels for the first time ever.

Englishman is an ancient old english word its root being Englisman. It is a demonym. An Englishman is a fixed, specific identity. Adjective-noun words only join when they become their own separate thing. Take greenhouses and blackbirds as examples. A green house is different to a greenhouse.

The swelling and the white scabs are the worst, especially around the lips when it makes your whole mouth stiff. If you have aloe vera gel use that as often as you need, it helped me heal up after just a day or two of downtime.

It also means, if anyone shows up to a psychologist or therapist, not 1000% sure they are trans, showing any affirmation, support or encouraging them to explore themselves further is tantamount to conversion therapy. It also means asexual people are unprotected.

(2) “Conversion practice” means (subject to subsection (3)) any conduct carried out by a person towards an individual with the intention of—

(a) causing the individual—
(i) to have or not to have,
(ii) to believe that they have or do not have,

a sexual orientation or a particular sexual orientation; or

For the non-lawyers, it's an manual on how to A) Legally continue conversion practices, B) Deny healthcare to trans people. Around 10% of the questions for a Gender Dysphoria diagnosis, the required step for a GRC and the precursor for HRT, are of a sexual nature.

Oh so we're just blatantly allowing the NHS to do conversion practices if they just dangle the carrot of "health care services" in front of someone. Surely more analysis to come, but this draft bill is a joke. No bill would be better than this bill. Perhaps that's what Bridget Phillipson wants.

The second FWS case (which isn't being appealed) argued that article 2 rights don't apply to trans people. ARTICLE 2 IS THE RIGHT TO LIFE. The courts have decided that putting us in danger is not only okay but mandatory. The genocide just became law yet no word from anyone in Labour.
