So when they've convinced people to not give their kids vaccines that they think cause autism...and kids still end up getting autism, what their next step? I have a guess: 1) they find a new thing to blame autism on 2 blame it on parenting skills 3) say that whatever the kid has isn't autism

I'm at a restaurant looking for the bathroom. I see a door with a photo of Taylor swift on it. I guess my gender is Taylor Swift now? My pronouns are Bad/Blood And im only interested in relationships that I can use to inspire my songwriting.

There is something brutally psychically injurious to being constantly told "just do good work and you'll be successful" while watching people who do the most dogshit work possible do all the succeeding.

I am begging medical professionals: if you have a problem or concern with why and how another dr referred their patient to you, please take it up with the referring Dr. DO NOT TELL PATIENTS TO ASK THEIR DR TO JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS.

My course materials showed up, and this is what Cerridwen does immediately after it's empty. Me: Do you like the box? Cerridwen: Meah Me: Is it you sized? Cerridwen: Meah Me: That box cost me just over $1,000 you know. Cerridwen: *yawns* #athabascau #university #cats

A small tabby cat looks up at the camera from inside a box that fits her perfectly.

Exactly a month after my previous cat passed away, my apartment has flooded and I'm living in a construction zone as it's getting dried out. The breaker keeps getting triggered (twice today already) and no idea if insurance will put us up in a hotel. I'm so tired.

I cant stop gushing about how my newly adopted cat Cerridwen is such a sweetheart! Here we are taking a nap after an exciting afternoon playing with her toys

This is interesting to me because I grew up in housing that *was* built under this model. In Halifax, NS I grew up in Wallis Heights (now Ocean Breeze Estates) in the 90s, in what we affectionately called the PMQs (Private Military Quarters).

I mean, yeah? Most people don't get to pick and choose the kinds of jobs they want to work, and so have to feign excitement at their participation in capitalism. Big mood.

I've been seeing a lot of talk recently about trying to break away from US dependency on goods, and boosting people in the trades here during this most recent trade war. I agree we need more people in trades, but I think the problem is not necessarily getting people into the trades, but retention!

This, but also people then want drug addicts to "go somewhere else" ie. Become someone else's problem. There is no empathy, no understanding, with these people. People who are addicts are not a "problem" to be shoved ontosomeone else, they are our neighbours and we have a responsibility to them.
