Of course they all matter but seeing these little ones in such a bad way really get to me. Maybe because I have two little ones and know how much they rely on me for love and security. So relieved to see Rod's amazing recovery. Thank you! 😍

It's a 6 week course so includes glazing and firing. I think you can join as a member as well afterwards. Very lucky to have it just 10 mins away. Mind you might get into making more mini pots which can be fired in a microwave kiln.

It really is, I do have a pottery wheel at home which my son bought me but hadn't used it until now. Only a cheap one but does the job. Mini wheels are pretty cool too for a bit of therapy.

Hurrah! Managed to throw a couple of decent bowl shapes in today's bowl throwing class in spite of finger wound. The Boots dressing strips held up remarkably well.

So annoying. Had similar, asked to do a horse portrait in a rush from an ex student for his girlfriend as her horse had died. Put everything off to do it and hours of work. It's still here 2 months on. Still wants it but can't be bothered to collect it.

Yes same for me until today usually doesn't bother me but bread was on it's last legs. I didn't mind those although I hated baked beans as a kid. Also broad beans, something about the texture inside the bean. My nephew was the worst food phobic. He grew up on marmite sarnies and potato balls.

I'd realised a few childhood foibles related to sensory food issues but hadn't quite figured it out. It's the dryness of foods. I used to be accused of being greedy because I had to have a lot of butter on baked spuds, a lot of gravy and a lot of cream on spongy desserts. It wasn't greed it was dry!

After 67 years it's only just dawned on me (Since Autism diagnosis) why I couldn't eat the crusts on sliced bread. I used to hide them in a tissue and put them in my pocket (Mum must have frequently found them) Just made cheese sarnie and bread is a bit dry. Had to rip the crusts off. 1/2

Not done a jigsaw in years but had to go to Boots for better finger wound supplies and popped into a few charity shops looking for another hedgehog food bowl. Chap turned up with a load of puzzles so got one seeing as I can't do much else while trying to make sure finger is healing for pottery class

So before we left we had a bit of a party and gave away all the toys and goodies people had collected. Those 2 amazing doctors were up all night giving their own blood to save a new born. They hadn't been paid in 3 months. Little Lena (age 15) was my best mate while I was there. ❤️
