I’ve been sketching in my iPad recently. I wanted to do a Patrick Nagel esque sketch to help me work with some coloring. My line work is still not great but I’m practicing when I can. If you’re interested, it’s the Adobe Fresco sketch app and I’m using the basic manga art pens and brushes.

I lovehow the local Republican Party sets up their sign and stuff in a vacant downtown store, a month before the Election Day like a Spirit Halloween. Spirit Halloween does more for a local economy though.

I wrote my first article on Flock in Mount Vernon Ohio before Christmas of 2025. On Monday, city council will give its termination legislation a second reading.

In all this Flock camera talk - I've noticed someone is being awfully quiet, so - it was time to call the Mayor forward. medium.com/@the_levee/s... And now, I'm going to finish a story about the last 11 months of my life ahead of the city council meeting on Monday.

After that last six months of dealing with Flock in Mount Vernon, Ohio - I am coming to the conclusion that it’s going to need to be done at the ballot box. City officials are dug in. They aren’t going to budge.

It's the fourth Monday of the month, so it's time to go yell at City Council. It's what our founding fathers would want me to do.

I only had three days carved out for this trip and it’s been extremely stressful. I had to balance work, family and not my family issues. It’s a vacation but I haven’t had one moment of solace. But here’s my favorite photo from the whole trip. It’s Chicago while on approach to O’Hare.

My latest edit. I knew I wanted to make the color pop a bit. I still find myself noodling about on these photos. Photo of model Amelia Forte captured at Studio 8 in Columbus.

The feds had access to the city of Mount Vernon’s Flock cameras. The city admin is adamant about keeping them up and only changing their policy. I do not like it one bit as I’m still being stonewalled about the audit logs. But it did confirm my suspicion that no one was watching the system.

For now, the countryside of Knox County Ohio will be free of these problematic Flock Cameras Now we just have convince the local city of Mount Vernon to cancel.

The local sheriff’s office is going to pass on Flock cameras. That just leaves the city of Mount Vernon to reverse their decision. The job ain’t finished.

I spoke at council regarding Flock. The last few days after the adrenaline has worked its way out of my system, I’m feeling that people are waking up to what is happening. Whether or not things change is what I don’t share much confidence. But the job isn’t done.

Last year, I spoke at city council that their email cybersecurity policy was lacking. This is the second phishing email I have received this month. This was is from the Mayor of Mount Vernon. Look, this is going to be filed under “Proven accurate”

Well... here's a fun fact. I spent part of my afternoon downtown because I wanted to learn more about this commission. It has very little online presence, so I figured the best way to understand what it does was to attend one of its meetings.

I spoke in front of city council asking them to do better with their cybersecurity policy. Well the council presidents email address looks like it’s either been compromised or spoofed? And yeah. I got an email with some stuff. I told them so. I’m petty and childish. Worse when I am right.
