(2/2) The second set of frames of the Testimony fan-comic! More art by yumakes_ocs is on the way! She was a treat to work with and was extremely receptive to feedback throughout the whole process. I can't thank you enough for bringing my characters to life! www.instagram.com/yumakes_ocs?...

A two-frame comic page featuring anthropomorphic feline characters. Visible in the upper right hand corner of both frames is the signature of the artist, @yumakes_ocs

In the first frame, a young, male jaguar with black fur and green eyes, Kah'riss, sits up on the floor of what is clearly a bathroom. He wears a groggy expression and growls, "Come to mock me while I die?"

In the second frame, an older, male Bornean bay cat with copper fur wearing a grey military uniform with gold trim is throwing his head back in laughter, saying, "Haha! Don't be so dramatic, soldier! I'm just trying to make sure you're still alive in here!"

(1/2) "Kah opened his eyes, looking directly into a larger, yellower pair. They pulled back, revealing E’e’s smiling face. He was irritatingly chipper." I got FAN ART! A fan of Testimony was excited for the new book and commissioned a pair of her favorite scenes! Art by yumakes_ocs on Insta

A two frame comic featuring two anthropomorphic feline characters from my novel, Testimony.

In the first frame, a young, male jaguar with black fur and green eyes struggles to wakefulness, gripping his head and groaning, "Ugh..."

In the second frame, an older, male, Bornean bay cat with orange eyes and copper fur leans close over the jaguar, saying, "Kah'riss? Kah'riss... Wake up, wake up, wake up!" The bay cat, E'e, is wearing a gray military uniform with gold trim.

I really do need to post more on here, rather than my personal account, since everything I say is about writing, anyway.

Uh oh. I've devoured my word budget for this week's Codex... People don't mind if it's, like, oh, four or five times the usual length, right?

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
