Fishtrap Dam in Kentucky looks like a disaster zone right now. The marina area is always in pretty rough shape but it looks especially bad after all this recent weather. #dronevideography

Primarily, it’s because they remind me of my grandparents. These grew around their house and it’s where I first saw them.

Sitting here watching clips of celebrities at the Met Gala play right alongside clips of the president telling Americans they can’t afford to buy so many pencils this year makes me feel something that I can’t quite explain but I think we may be “cooked” as the kids say.

True, but it’s not like any of us can really keep up with all this shit anyway. May as well enjoy the break.

100 ppl aren’t gonna beat a gorilla in a fight. What WILL happen is 10 bros will surround it (because how many ppl can really interact with one gorilla at a time?) while 90 bystanders slowly grow less and less confident with their decision to be voluntarily murdered by a gorilla for internet clout.

MAGA Cultists will accuse you of “drinking the Kool-Aid” of vaccine science right before they vote billionaires into power to help make the economy better for everyone. The end results have been measles outbreaks and a tanking economy. If we’re drinking Kool-Aid, you’re drinking antifreeze.

This is from the official White House account. If you’re too blinded by partisanship to realize how disgraceful and horrendous this is, then I can’t help you. This is disgusting and so is anybody who continues to support this authoritarian administration.

In 1987, someone hijacked two Chicago TV stations with a bizarre Max Headroom video—and vanished without a trace. No one knows who did it or why. In Part 1, we dive into the mystery, the tech, and the legend of one of broadcast TV’s weirdest moments. #AstonishingLegends #Podcast #MaxHeadroomIncident

Now why in the world would an insurance company in Ireland be responsible for handling Netflix billing in America? Oh, well. Crazy times. Better hurry up and click all the links real fast. Gotta watch that cake show.

Making some progress on characters and backgrounds. Creating silly little cartoons isn’t much, but it is a nice distraction from the void.

When listening to people like Peter Thiel talk about what needs to happen to make the government “work” maybe consider the source, what he means by “work”, and who he wants it to “work” for. The rich don’t want the system to “work” any different. Why would they? They’re rich.

The world is basically on fire right now, but we get new Black Mirror episodes on Thursday so that’s neat. I hope they’re wacky.

The grand conspiracy that’s currently destroying America is a very nuanced and complex plot that basically boils down to this—the people that already have most of the money want all of it. That’s it. That’s the plan. How fucking boring. We should probably resist.
