So, I’ve had a long backlog of Pokemon Cards that I’ve been meaning to open…I had two packs left of Champion’s Path, & I think this might mean my luck is turning around…

Gaining some self worth & confidence while still fighting through depression is kind of funny, one second, you’re thinking “Ah fuck, I hate myself, I suck so much” then the new thoughts are like “No you fucking don’t, what are you talking about?”

How am I just now realizing that, after 25 years and many play throughs, Final Fantasy IX’s Vivi is LITERALLY JUST THE SPANISH WORD FOR LIVING!? It fits his character growth & struggle perfectly too

Judging by the discourse online, this could be considered a bad take, but… …I love Mega Feraligatr!

Feeling great today, I’m officially down 70 lbs from when I started working out & tracking calories in September. I still have ~100 lbs to go to get to my goal weight, but I’m in a much better place than I was If you want to make a change, do it. Start small. Little victories are everything! 1/2

Community Day? More like Gains Day! Normally, I do 11,000 steps per day…throughout the entire day, but I got to my step goal in just 2 hours! I wanted to push myself to see if I could do a full Comm Day again…Only ended up going from 2-4 (playing the rest from home) I Also got 11 Shinies!

Final Fantasy IX has been my biggest source of inspiration for literally 25 years! It was my 1st Final Fantasy Game. It holds a very special place in my heart, & the title of my favorite game of all time! I made this Zidane a while back, but it's perfect for #FFIX25FanArt

JoshR691 @joshr691.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

So, I had a spot on my Home Screen saved for Kingdom Hearts Missing Link (the cancelled game), and I just changed my background to the new Final Fantasy IX Art, because of course I did. The way it’s lined up makes it look like I perfectly framed Beatrix…a happy accident

A happy accident: Beatrix perfectly framed in a spot that was saved for a cancelled game.

So, I decided to RNG up some magic on a copy of Soul Silver that I got a while back, got a Cute Charm glitch ID & a Shiny Totodile so far…Let’s see how many Shinies I can rack up with this save!

On my way to the midnight launch! A new era begins in less than an hour!

So, with the Final Fantasy Tactics remake being announced & given a release date, that just leaves the Final Fantasy IX remake as the only one not yet announced from that Nvidia leak, right!?

020

JoshR691 @joshr691.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Ok, so I wasn’t really like super hyped yesterday about the Switch 2 Launch, just a normal amount, but I woke up way too early today, & it hit me: in less than a day, Nintendo’s next Generation begins & I wasn’t able to fall back to sleep…the hype train is real!

010

JoshR691 @joshr691.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

So, the other day, I convinced myself that something would go wrong Transferring my Switch Data to Switch 2 ...So, randomly, I forced myself to finish up some things in my Pokemon games (shiny hunts, etc.) & move them back into Home Say what you will, but sometimes Paranoia gets things done...

JoshR691 @joshr691.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Switch 2 preorder secured at Walmart, still going to try GameStop, because I know the “screw you, we sold too many” emails are inevitable. If I’m able to get it at GameStop, then it’s time to play the most dangerous game: relying on my memory to cancel an order

120

JoshR691 @joshr691.bsky.social · 20/04/2025

*sigh* should I give Bravely Default another chance on Switch 2?

Since Final Fantasy IX’s 25th anniversary is starting & it’s April Fool’s day… 25 years ago, during my first playthrough, I found the Ocean Chocograph for the first time…On April Fool’s day…my friends & I were searching for weeks, & didn’t believe me when I told them…to this day, they still don’t!
