On the second thing, I was half listening to a podcast with an MS talking about her experiences growing up in care, and what she thought be done to the system. She was thoughtful, sincere with actual ideas of things to do. Could've knocked me down with a feather when I heard she was Reform.

While neither Liverpool nor Bristol, the principle ports linked directly to the slave trade, are in Wales, neither are that far away either. Wales may not have benefited as visibly as other places, but it doesn't mean that Wales and welsh people didn't benefit significantly anyway.

So the little church group I'm in is going to be meeting in an old cafe in a few weeks. Soon as we sort ourselves out. It's not labelled as a church or anything, just as a space for prayer. A prominent Bangor businessman has been online calling it a "dodgy prayer centre".

I feel like Yr Wyddfa is disproportionally dangerous as individuals underestimate its difficulty due to the train and cafe. It's a big mountain, even if it's just one very long day's hike, and it's susceptible to fairly significant changes in temperature and weather as it's in a windy, wet place.
