Most #grading problems in #PhysicalEducation don't start w the grade. They start w the gradebook. When it's organized around what students do vs learning the evidence is off. It's an evidence problem not a grading problem. Article 2 of 4-part series on grading in #PE: tinyurl.com/6vujfa3a

Grading in PE, Part 2: Organizing and Summarizing Learning
Before you determine a grade, you need clean information. Here's how to organize and summarize learning evidence in PE so the decision is clearer.

Assessment stress in PE is rarely about tools or effort. It’s usually about clarity. When learning is unclear, assessment feels messy. Then grading feels unclear & it becomes harder to see how assessment supports teaching & learning. Looking ahead to ‘26 what would u like to feel more clear about?

I put this on other platforms, & the responses have been 🤔 A common challenge in #PhysEd: the outdated idea that all Ss must do the exact same thing. Not only is it outdated, it’s demotivating! Good news: it doesn't have to be this way. How can we rethink #PE to meaningfully engage every learner?
