I always think people like Robert Reich are part of the problem and won’t really be part of the solution. They’re in the gilded age of professors where they have all this knowledge and experience but haven’t really contributed to making a future where America is industrial and builds.

The shareholders control the company and they put someone in who will do what they want. Also, because they can and there's nothing anyone can do about it except unionize which is a pretty trite answer. :( unions are somewhat of a decent solution but they're also an individual use case example

Ghost is fantastic, self-hosting is a bit of challenge for a few hours figuring out all the setting but it's nice to control, own and be in control of how everything gets out there. Did you choose a custom theme or one of the ones already available? I honestly picked casper because it's nice!

The problem is the wording. “Patriotic” —> see you gotta be for “your country” to be patriotic and they never have been for the country. They’re for their rich elite class. That is all. Everyone not in that club can get screwed. They only ever hid behind patriotism for their atrocities views.

I recommend mouse padding . I have one that is long that I just use as a mouse pad. It's like a fabric/rubber mix. If it gets dirty I just wash it. I've had it maybe 4 years now. No real wear and tear visible

Meritocratic reaches have been weirdly racist since that book by Charles Murray came out. The Bell Curve which is the most academic argument for what is essentially race based intelligence made with data. This follows their plan. It's also wildly inaccurate and hugely problematic.

I just started a calculus source because I have always wanted to learn it. I was stuck on a question. My gf (who is chinese) made fun of me for 10 minutes for not knowing. There's a math deficiency in America. She went to art school in China and got more math classes than I did :(
