What are your favorite 80s New York is a cesspit of scum and villainy #horror movies? Think Cruising, Dressed to Kill, Jason Takes Manhatten, and Hennenlotter.

What are some things that give off American Gods vibes? Things that spring to mind are Percy Jackson, Fables, Supernatural, and Children of the Corn.

So now that Andrew Christian is shuttered where are #indiegayfilmmakers getting their free underwear to put their lead actors in these days?

Has nobody really made a documentary about Joe Gage while he's still with us or can I just not find it? @jasunmark.bsky.social @schlockvalue.bsky.social @kjshepherd.bsky.social

Looking for some gay m/m sci-fi adventure smut. Particularly if it's Space Opera, Retro-Futuristic, or Planetary Romance. Especially if it involves punching space fascists. However, open to any strongly worded suggestions.

The Philadelphia Story is charming, witty, and gorgeous; but boy does it whiff that ending.

Just rewatched Moulin Rouge! For the first time in at least 15 years. It's the most pre-9/11 2001 movie that could have been made with its music video of that exact era editing and song selection with such a gloss over everything. Shout out to the tatted-up leather daddies dancing together!

@hkhspod.bsky.social I'd love for you to cover Get Real (1998), and the play it is based on 'What's Wrong With Angry?' At some point.

Between the various Charles Busch adaptions, Hedwig, this, and I guess, Rent, we really had a spate of gay plays adapted to movies in the early 2000s. I wonder what was in the air?

BlueSky is trying to monetize so let's show them some numbers: Reskeet this if you refuse to pay for BlueSky+ until trust & safety decides to prioritize marginalized users. That's $96 / year of lost revenue for each reskeet...
