i like using interesting colors on these minis. it gets drab when everything is natural colors and brown and stuff

i had to put my little manx kitty down today she was 17 years old. had her since 2009. she was terrible at being a cat. clumsy, noisy, fell off things, had zero grace, but one of the greatest kitties it has ever been my honor to have shared my life with, so soft and loving sweet dreams baby girl

have yet to get the hang of the varnish spray (some of them got it a little too heavy) but here's my first cohort of Little Guys for my d&d collection

a panoply of weird little guys on a desk, with rows of paints behind them. there's weird little fungus monsters, a bunch of kobolds, a couple clerics casting spells, a handful of warforged, and some hobgoblins and skeletons and zombies.

if, instead of this paragraph, there was like two lines of Meg being horrified that it's *just* a brain, that right there would fix the narrative dissonance. instead the character's reaction feels bizarre and thrust me out of the tension
