“The Long Run” Eagles (1979) You either love them or hate them and I love the Eagles. While this effort is not as good as their last outing, Hotel California, it still pretty good. Spouting several hits it also contains a personal favorite, “The Sad Cafe”. This album is worth your time.

“Cornerstone” Styx (1979) A little too pop-ish for me but still a another winning album from Styx. Big hit on the album is of course “Babe”.

this confirms something i have long suspected, which is that certain people are told that their professional and academic failures are because of “affirmative action” or “DEI” as a way to avoid difficult conversations about their mediocrity www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...

You Blamed DEI for Hurting Your Career. Now What?

For people who pin their failures on diversity, corporate America’s DEI retreat removes a barrier—or maybe an excuse.
