It was a teaser for my home group...who did indeed visit the faire...

Recent unsealed internal messages from Facebook expose FB 100% knew they trained their GenAi on stolen works. It also shows how concerned FB is that lawmakers listen to rightholders (creatives, academics, etc) of the works they stole. Never stop calling GenAi what it is: Theft!

Artists, in 2025 do yourself and your colleagues a favour: don’t undersell yourself. Giving access to your art -or worse your entire archives/patreon- for $1 on a regular basis is… not good. It sabotages your own work, your colleagues’ & the market. I know asking for more is scary, but please do it.

Most state governments are under-equipped to investigate wage theft. Many states have just a handful of investigators. In 2018, seven states had no investigators responsible for tracking wage theft at all.

Working at the "Happiest Place on Earth" can be a nightmare.
