There is an apartment near my university with a lovely assortment of flowers on their balcony and it was always a pleasure to see. Truly adding color to a tedious morning. Sadly, the flowers wilted by the end of the year. Classes began today and I am happy to report there are new flowers !

Reading The Brothers Karamazov again (yes I am going through smth). I can’t help but be in awe at how perfectly crafted each Dostoevsky character is! Even the most buffonish (looks at Papa Fyodor) is so distinct that you can’t help but simultaneously dislike and like them.
