Just dull as the dirt the main character spends most of the film rolling around in. The b-plot existing at all, let alone for so much of the screen time, speaks to how little creative energy they had to put into the tension of a guy trapped under a house with two killers.

I've been very fortunate to make a lot of friends in comics and locally since we moved to Washington, and I hope to make more! But you can't make new childhood friendships ever again, and it's a loss I'm still working through. (See: almost every comic pitch I've done the past few years).

It's about the fifth anniversary of the loss of my closest friendship, which played out over a year or so, but started in October, so an extra emotionally raw time to have seen this!

Finished Act 2 with Leda, very likely to just skip act 2 with everyone else, let the auto-level do its thing, and see how it goes. My other armies just do not have that many recruits, haha.

This was a lot of fun when the blob was around, seeing the ways they practically portrayed everything. There's a lot of slow moments, though, so it can be a bit of a slog as well. But overall worth it!
