I love the aesthetics of this thing also, it has a floppy drive!
a silver/grey electronic Casio keyboard, on a stand, in a grassy outdoor area

it has large speakers covered with fine metal mesh on either end

it has a variety of knobs and buttonscloser view of the bottom-right corner of the keyboard, which houses a 3.5 floppy drive a closer view of the controls on the left side of the keyboard

there’s a power button and a mode button and various other assorted buttons and LEDs and a volume knob

an LCD display is visible on the right

there is a logo for “Casio Music Site - Internet Data Expansion System” that features a planet with a moon orbiting ita view of the right side of the keyboard

there are more buttons, including a D-pad and a numpad

there are several logos:

“Zpi sound source”

“General MIDI”

“SmartMedia” (in red, near the back)

I verified that there is indeed a SmartMedia slot on the back of the keyboard (not pictured)

damn I haven't been following The Phantom but maybe I should be
a 3 panel newspaper comic strip except it's one extra wide panel in full color

there is a LOT going on

in the top left, a silhouette of a person runs up some sort of grid (stairs? just abstract boxes?)

in the bottom left, the head of a grey alien looms and stares menacingly. a white rectangle is reflected in its eyes. is it watching a screen?

on the right, The Phantom's head appears in profile, screaming.

behind him, a green snake dangles from the top of the panel. it also appears to be screaming.

behind the snake, there is more of the weird abstract grid geometry (is it an office building?) the face of an angry/constipated man is (reflected? emblazoned?) on a downward-facing surface of the grid. he is not screaming but he is definitely not happy.

in the middle of the panel, there is the head of a balding man with a mustache, engulfed in flames and clutching his head. he is screaming: "YAAAAHHHH!!!"

he is flanked on either side by two Phantoms/devils with pointy ears; they are all-black figures with white eyes, noses (nostrils?) and mouths visible.

lady: well did it work for those people?
dude: no, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might. but...

it sits atop a matching SuperDock, which adds 4 USB ports and a tray-loading optical drive the back of the console, showing assorted ports, and the rest of the stuff that came in the box: a little card with a QR code on it leading to the quick start guide, an HDMI cable, a very nice braided USB-C cable, a port cover that I would presumably want if I removed the dock, and oddly, an L336 Learning Remote

a dude with frankly wild hair and a flower in it recoils in dismay as a lizard bites his fingerThe placard for Boy Bitten By A Lizard

OCR text follows

Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, known as Caravaggio
Italian, b. Milan, 1571-d. Porto Ercole, 1610
Boy Bitten by a Lizard circa 1597
Oil on canvas
Fondazione Roberto Longhi, Florence, Italy
This iconic painting dates to Caravaggio's first years in Rome. Its striking rendering of recoiling movement caused by physical pain and surprise is wonderfully captured in the boy's anguished expression and twisting shoulders. Other artists of the time acknowledged Caravaggio's mastery in engaging and depicting strong emotions as well as the physical world. Caravaggio's less successful rival, the artist Giovanni Baglione (Italian, 1566-1643), noted the remarkable, luminous quality of the transparent carafe and lifelike flowers. Indeed, the painting not only marks watershed innovations in painting emotional expressions and light, but an elevation of the place of still life painting.
The biting of the middle finger, the digitus impudicus, or the indecent finger, has a long history as a phallic symbol in ancient Rome. Here, it could indicate a moral lesson on the pain and consequences from sensory pleasures or indulgence. The gesture may also derive from a famous drawing by the female Renaissance artist Sofonisba Anguissola of Child Bitten by a Lobster which was in the collection of Cardinal
Sofonisba Anguissola (Italian, 1532-
1625). Child Bitten by a Lobster, circa
1544, chalk and pencil on paper.
Museo di Capodimonte, Naples.
Fulvio Orsini when Caravaggio arrived in
Rome. This drawing was requested by none other than Michelangelo Buonarroti, who was so impressed by a drawing Sofonisba made of a laughing boy that he requested a drawing of a crying child "that was even more difficult to do."
Boy Bitten by a Lizard exists in two versions: this one from the Fondazione Roberto Longhi and that in the National Gallery, London.
Scholars consider both paintings to be original. This suggests not only Caravaggio's willingness to experiment with compositions and subject matter, but also the artist's popularity and saleability.

the placard for Boy Peeling Fruit by Caravaggio

OCR text follows

Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, known as Caravaggio
Italian, b. Milan, 1571-d. Porto Ercole, 1610
Boy Peeling Fruit Late 16th century copy after the original of circa 1592-1593
Oil on canvas
Fondazione Roberto Longhi, Florence, Italy
Most scholars believe the Boy Peeling Fruit-upon which this painting is based-to be the earliest surviving work by Caravaggio. When it was painted, the artist would have been about 22 years old, but even at this early age his artistic brilliance is clear. Here Caravaggio used intense shadows to contrast with the boy's pale skin and white shirt, capturing his intense concentration as he peels a piece of fruit. The hallmarks of the artist's style-including the sharp contrasts between light and dark, the focus on psychological realism, and the fidelity to capturing the physical world in minute detail-must have shocked and yet enchanted contemporaneous viewers. Indeed, these revolutionary innovations are of crucial importance to the Baroque movement, a stylistic phenomenon which pulsated across Europe, and eventually, the entire globe.Boy Peeling Fruit by Caravaggio

a boy of perhaps 12, with short brown hair, wearing a white shirt. he has a neutral expression and is looking down at some fruit (maybe plums?) that he is peeling with a knife.
