Umineko is 20 hours of great game bundled with 80 hours of really bad game and I just want to be done with it. what the fuck are lines like this. Why does every visual novel yuri dev swear by it It exhausts me

"Nothing will be resolved by the eruption of momentary emotions. Can't you see that doing that will only make their treatment of Ange-sama even more severe?"

Sometimes I genuinely feel like I don't know what to do if I'm not writing. It's so therapeutic for me, but when I'm exhausted, I can't write, but I feel BAD if I don't write, so like... It's Schrodinger's Burnout

Adding "Workaholic" to my VNDB profile after spending four hours updating the IGDB + IMDB + VNDB profiles for my project and everyone who worked on it I got my COVID and Flu shots today and I'm STILL overworking myself, somehow. I'm incorrigible.

Something deep inside me told me I should draw Donkey Kong today.

A four panel comic titled "Hours, Bananas, Doors."
Donkey Kong awakens staring at himself in a mirror, then stares down at his hand as he notices a strange watch on his wrist.
Staring at his wrist, the watch turns out to be one of the numbered bracelets from 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors from the Zero Escape series. It's Junpei's bracelet. For some reason.
Peach then asks a confused Donkey Kong, "Donkey Kong? Have you ever heard of the Parallel Banana Theory?"

He was so good at it, too. I was writing my visual novel and he kept asking, "But why?? Why are you writing this when you could make a movie or a book?" I tried to explain but he didn't want to get it. I eventually said "because I like writing LESBIAN STORIES. Now if you'll EXCUSE ME..."

There have been multiple times where I've been reading a visual novel about a character overworking themselves and then I'll audibly go, "Oh, fuck. I should be writing/editing right now" and close the game. I can stop writing any time I want, guys. I just have to fix this typo...

Sometimes (especially when writing), I think: "Is this a normal problem that normal people have, or is this a Jordan-exclusive problem that Jordan has?" and it's usually a Jordan problem. Who else needs to clarify "ghost possession name tags" in a visual novel? That's not normal. That's a me issue
