My take: The average Netflix movie is the peak-tv version of the “made for tv movies” of previous decades. They’re better than those were, but are not gripping, good writing usually, they’re formula, product. Find a great writer who doesn’t sling boilerplate and you win. flip.it/FgG6-0

True. If it’s biased or wrong in some way it can wreck things and add inefficiencies related to cleaning that later, but if it’s not biased then it’s usually information rich, accurate, dense training data. This is behind why Chinese distillation of US models is so effective.

It's always a mystery to our side why this is. I've almost given up at this point. Nobody on our side watches Fox, so we're just flummoxed why this happens, why these people are this way. It's a simple reason, but you need to subject yourself to Fox and Murdoch Media to fully understand it.
