Gorgeous AM beach walk with Bertie and Mrs P - just before the tide came in and made dodging or jumping groynes necessary. Even better - no dead fish for Bertie to snack upon but plenty of birds to chase.

Our village in West Sussex has many many NIMBY’s becrying the lack of affordable housing for their kids, the number of housing developments locally (that include affordable homes), and then (the cherry on the top) confidently stating that there is no home shortage. Chess with pigeons

Today’s stage of le Tour finishes on Alpe D’Huez. This is *the* iconic climb - 21 hairpin bends at an average gradient of ~8.1%. It has seen many historic finishes - from Le Mond and Hinault in ‘86, Armstrong’s “Look” in 2001, to Geraint Thomas cementing his Yellow jersey in 2018.
