I'd have enjoyed seeing Luigi Primo more if he wasn't reportedly an anti vaccine guy. Oh well, not like we're new to problematic people named Luigi

Hi, minor note, it says "Grandshelt knight Emma" but Emma's the young girl in Chapter 1; you might be referring to Charlotte, who's already a knight at the beginning of the game.

This is very silly, but also another indicating data point in where Rockstar's looking to for its audience: the widest, most mainstream non-capital-G-Gamers.

"Silent Hill: Townfall is a survival horror game." "Silent Hill: Townfall is a stealth game." Real ones know: Silent Hill: Townfall is a roguelike.

Similarly, it must be so strange for ppl in the audience to get tickets to this show months ago, or any other that turned into a tribute show, and realizing what they're going into.

There's a dedicated leftist Warhammer group called Tide of Traitors on Discord and other social platforms, if it helps. Sort of an explicit pushback on some other 40k groups' alt- or far-right leanings.

Thanks for the kind words, sir.

The first Tekken game came out in '94 so statistically you're more likely to be closer to 40 than 30 if this post resonates

It did make me wonder about people who've gotten into 40k/Age of Sigmar because of the video games, or books, or lore videos ... but not the tabletop game itself (or the painting/hobby side). Are people totally cool just doing the non-tabletop part? Or is the game itself a barrier to these fans?

Interesting video about growing out of 40K tabletop, or maybe the game growing beyond some players' interests (mostly from casual, social settings to flattened-out, constantly updated for competition). www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRtd...

Some of my posts do way better on Threads than Bluesky and I worry what that says about me as a person

I am *very* excited to see if any of the greens happen to be close to the '90s era Goblin Green.

They look really neat, though I've never thought a multiple shades system ever needs more than three to a single colour, plus they're still in those pots (YMMV, dropper bottles are more popular but have their own problems depending on the brand)

nope, it's just ... like that

I would also hazard that Game of Thrones shit the bed early enough in its run that it shouldn't have made the Top 10

I think the "debate" about bringing iced coffee to job interviews is effective at distracting people from the really bad job market, the high unemployment rate for Black women, ongoing mass layoffs in tech and media, and how Gen Z workers are refusing to adopt many toxic aspects of corp work culture

Jennifer Hale once told me Canadians need to champion ourselves more. I wholeheartedly agree. Over the past few months, I reached out to dozens of Canadian devs to learn their favourite Canadian games. Their varied responses offer a wonderful spotlight on some of the incredible talent we have here.🍁

These are must-play Canadian games, according to Canadian devs

As Canadians, we don't champion ourselves enough, so we asked dozens of game developers to do just that.

There are a lot of discourses happening in close or adjacent circles and I for one am happy to only engage in stuff like "Is the new Warhammer paint going to be good?"
