"The NDP is spending an inordinate amount of time doing get-out-the-vote. I don’t think the UCP, even though they have the capacity ... are doing the same thing, and the reason for that is the party is split. So if they were doing a get-out-the-vote, which side are they getting the vote out for?"

This is the second trial Yasin Cetin faced on these charges. The first resulted in a mistrial after the defence informed the Crown they had an alibi for the night in question. In the second trial, Crown suggested the offences happened a different night.

Yeah it seemed bizarre even then, like love it or hate it why completely undermine your signature policy for a few thousand people with a region-specific means of home heating, when you could just pay them to switch to something else

Our tech basically said they're only good here for cooling — basically if you use them for heating you're going to have an $800 electric bill because gas is so cheap here and electricity is so expensive

Today I'm officially declaring that I've lived half my life in Canada. Came here for school at 18. Today I'm 36. I wish I had something pithy and unique to say about the geopolitical situation. Mostly just glad I saw that UBC brochure all those years ago, and have parents who said "go for it."
