I also would not make this a title defense. If you’re gonna do it, make it a number 1 contender match. A champion defending a title like this is dumb. Also, I love when AEW has no interference stips on gimmick matches or tournaments. Why not just do that all the time if you have the power?

AEW’s Clockwork Carnage isn’t overly complex or hard to understand. I don’t get the confusion. The problem is that it’s stupid. Having 15 minutes of iron man rules with lots of falls doesn’t make sense when matches go that long w/o a single fall all the time. I fear a lot of unrealistic falls.

Watching Beatles Anthology on Disney+ (I watched the original when it first aired). When they go to Australia for the first time, they’re talking about how many people came to see them. This happened to us at Heathrow last week. I was in the bathroom and when I came out, my wife was sitting a few seats down from abandoned bags. She said a guy left them to use the bathroom. I’m sure there was nothing nefarious about it, but we left not wanting to get involved if security saw it.

I was a life long (since the 80s) 49ers fan. But when it became clear that the NFL and its fans would celebrate a player who is on video punching his wife in the face after a slap on the wrist while banning a player for kneeling during the national anthem, I was done. Nobody should be surprised.

Highlights of Liverpool. For Beatles fans - that is the same barber shop from Penny Lane. Red brick is George's childhood home. The grey house was where John lived from 5-23. The brown was Paul's home where he and John wrote tons of songs. Cavern Club is a recreation on the same spot as the original

If you ever have a chance to go to Stone Henge, if you can afford it, play extra for an inner circle tour. It ain't cheap, but you can explore so close you can touch the stones (don't!) and see the medieval graffiti. Our tour group were the only ones at the site. Just amazing!

Thinking about a cab driver from Yemin we had in Cardiff. Said he’s never met an American he didn’t like. He has family in Michigan who love living here. He really wants to visit them, but says he wouldn’t be safe here until Trump is gone.

There are a few everyday things that I’m particularly missing which I didn’t realize don’t exist (or at least are rare) in the UK - paper towels in bathrooms (air dryers mostly suck although the ones at Heathrow are good), wash cloths, and top sheets.
