One of my favorite things about our second hand dining table is these little paint splotches from the previous owner’s children. It gives the set the perfectly lived in feeling so we aren’t too stressed about what we do on it and we’re just adding to its story.

I put these book shelves up in the first year we moved here without a drill. I spent the next week expecting to hear the wall come crashing down while we slept because the studs disappeared half way up the wall on the left. They served us well. On to new things.

TW: Loss Do something nice for yourself and others today. A friend of my wife lost her sweet baby boy yesterday. He was born around Christmas at 26 weeks and fought hard, came home two weeks ago and had an unexpected complication arise and get critical while being transported between hospitals.
