Recently made some coins (for a secret project) on the fiber laser using the depthmap functionality of #meerk40t. Shined them up in a magnetic tumbler then darkened them with brass black. #laser #OpenSource

Spent time figuring out an #opensource way to take my flat vector designs and turn them into beveled depthmap for a fiber laser. One where I can make a single script to go from svg to depthmap. The results are very satisfying. #inkscape => #openscad => stl2png => #meerk40t
